WALAS Annual Conference
Rooted in the WALAS mission, our annual conference reflects our ongoing commitment to uplifting Latino educators through mentorship, networking, and professional development, while also advancing educational equity for all students, especially those of Latino heritage.

This year’s conference will be held at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, Washington on October 23-24, 2026 with Montserrat Garibay, Former Assistant Deputy Secretary, US Department of Education under Miguel Cardona and currently a candidate for the Texas House from the Austin area as our Keynote Speaker.
