The call for speaker proposals for the WALAS Annual Conference is now open! The 5th Annual WALAS Conference will take place October 23 & 24 in Kennewick, WA.<\/p>\n

We invite educators, leaders, aspiring administrators, and community partners to share their expertise and experiences. This year’s theme, Liderazgo con Ganas: Passion, Purpose, and Perseverance,<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/em>calls us to lead with coraz\u00f3n, clarity, and courage.<\/p>\n

We’re seeking interactive, practice-oriented sessions aligned to our conference strands. Lead presenters will receive complimentary conference registration.<\/p>\n

This year’s conference will be held at the Three Rivers Convention Center<\/span> <\/strong><\/a>in Kennewick, Washington on October 23-24, 2026 with Montserrat Garibay,<\/span> <\/strong>Former Assistant Deputy Secretary, US Department of Education under Miguel Cardona and currently a candidate for the Texas House from the Austin area as our Keynote Speaker.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
